Plastic Wrap Challenge

Here is the result of our challenge. We were asked to reduce the amount of plastic wrap we use in our packed lunches. The whole school took part and here is the result after 4 weeks. Keep up the good work in looking after our world!

Trip to the Suter

We have been to the Suter again working on a fantastic installation called Paopao ki tua o Rangi by Ngaahina Hohaia. The installation is a projected movie about the artist's connection to Parihaka and shows historic photos projected onto a circle of poi. The children then went on to make their own poi and at school we drew images to represent our families.

This is Steven's last day!
We are so sad to see you go. We hope that you have had a good time with us. we have enjoyed having you working and playing in room 6.
